Situasi ini tidak menghalang Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara (JKKN) iaitu sebuah agensi di bawah Kementerian Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya Malaysia menganjurkan Festival Kesenian Rakyat Kelate (FKRK) 2021.

Buat julung-julung kalinya, acara yang mendapat kerjasama daripada Kerajaan Negeri Kelantan itu berlangsung secara online iaitu menerusi video rakaman dan secara langsung dipaparkan di laman Facebook, JKKN Televisyen (TV).
Ketua Pengarah JKKN, Mesran Mohd. Yusop berkata, FKRK 2021 terpaksa diadakan secara online buat sementara waktu memandangkan negara masih bergelut dengan pandemik Covid-19.
“Buktinya, FKRK 2019 berjaya mencatatkan pulangan pendapatan RM116, 546 dengan kehadiran khalayak seramai 55, 520 sepanjang dua hari penganjuran, ” katanya ketika berucap pada majlis perasmian FRKR 2021 baru-baru ini.
Pastikan Warisan Kebudayaan Tidak Ketara Terus Dipelihara
Turut menyaksikan majlis perasmian secara online itu Menteri Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri dan Menteri Besar Kelantan, Datuk Ahmad Yakob.
Tambah Mesran, Kelantan sangat terkenal dengan masyarakatnya yang sangat taksub serta menjulang tinggi aktiviti kesenian, budaya dan warisan peninggalan nenek moyang mereka.
Selain itu, FKRK 2021 turut memaparkan kesenian tradisi rakyat Kelantan yang hampir pupus dan dilupakan seperti dikir laba, rebana mangkuk dan tarian wau bulan.
